Active Funds  


General Fund...


General Fund monies are used to pay general monthly expenses incurred with the CCCF. These funds do not include paying expenses incurred from the restricted funds. Any fees incurred from the restricted funds come from the restricted funds. Administrative Fees collected are deposited into the General Fund for operating and maintaining the funds. When funds are available, donations are made toward county activities.


Permanent Endowment Fund...


Endowment Fund - The fund was established in June of 2002 by donations.The Permanent Endowment Fund continues to receive donations. The fund guarantees the continuation of the Foundation.


 Salisbury Golf Association Fund...


The Salisbury Golf Association has established the Salisbury Golf Association Fund as an effort toward community betterment and to encourage donations toward this vital part of the community.  The Salisbury Golf Course was built over  twenty-five years ago with substantial volunteer labor and donations from local businesses.  The golf course receives no city or county funding.


The tract lures hundreds of golfers and thousands of dollars into the Salisbury economy on an annual basis.  By establishing this Salisbury Golf Association Fund CCCF can accept tax exempt donations for the Salisbury Golf Course."  


 Jeremy Reed Fund...


In May, 2002, Leo and Joyce Reed, parents of Jeremy Reed established the Jeremy Reed Memorial Fund.  The fund has quickly grown through donations to over $19,000.00.  The purpose of the fund is to help people in the community through an annual award or awards of either scholarships or contributions toward a worthwhile cause.  Jeremy died of leukemia in 2002.  


 Brunswick School Fund...


The Brunswick School fund was established with donations totaling $5000.00 from a private party, Chariton County Bank, and the Brunswick PTO.  


 Northwestern School Fund...


The Cornerstone of the Chariton County Community Foundation's educational philanthropy was the Northwestern School Fund.  This was established in 2000 by an individual challenge grant of $25,000.00, which was quickly matched by the community.  CCCF now manages over $70,000.00 in the Northwestern School Fund.


 Salisbury School Fund...


The Salisbury School Fund is managed by the Chariton County Community Foundation. Educators from the Salisbury High and Grade Schools who wish to be considered for the grants should write a letter of request citing the specific use of the grant for supplies or equipment needs, and send it to CCCF.


 William Hollis Memorial Golf Fund...


William Hollis Memorial Golf Fund - Established in 2009 by Betty Hollis in memory of her husband.  Mr. Hollis was active in establishing the Salisbury Municipal Golf Course.  Mrs. Hollis plans to give an annual scholarship of $300.00 to a graduating student who has been involved in the golf program at Salisbury High School.


 Coach "E" Fund...


This fund was established in 2009 by Carol Edmundson in memory of her husband, James (Coach "E") Edmundson.  Coach Edmundson was the coach at Brunswick High School for many years.  The Fund was begun in honor of Coach "E" with an annual run in conjunction with the Brunswick Pecan Festival.  Mrs. Edmundson will continue to give scholarships to two graduating seniors at Brunswick High School.  These scholarships are given at the beginning of the second semester of the college year.
